Children's ministry

In our Childrens Ministry, our mission is to help kids find their way to God, connect with others, and contribute to changing the world. We believe that kids have the capacity to walk intimately with God, and we love to see them learn about Him and connect with Him through Bible stories, songs, and crafts.


Every Sunday morning we provide a safe environment for kids from birth through fifth grade where they can learn about Jesus and connect with each other. The last Sunday of each month is designated as Family Sunday. Nursery will still be available during that time.


Our volunteers are the heartbeat of our ministry, and it’s an honor to serve with each and every one of them as they love on kids each week! Every adult volunteer who serves in the Children's Ministry has had a background check and is committed to making the ministry a safe, Biblically relevant, and fun environment for your kids.

  • Nursery & Tiny Trek

    Every Sunday morning during Worship Service, we provide a safe environment for children from birth through Pre-K where they can learn about Jesus, play  and interact  with each other. The last Sunday of each month is designated as Family Sunday. Nursery will still be available during that time.

  • K-1st grade

    Every Sunday morning @ 9:30 am NCOC provides group study time for children in K-1st grades. This class focuses on teaching basic bible lesson and related activity.

  • 2nd-3rd grade

    Every Sunday morning @ 9:30 am NCOC provides group study time for children in 2-3rd grades. This class focuses on teaching basic bible lessons with simple applications to life.

  • 4th- 5th Grade

    Every Sunday morning @ 9:30 am NCOC provides group study time for children in 4th- 5th grades. This class focuses on teaching basic bible lessons, getting familiar with the Bible and Scripture and how it applies to their lives..

  • Kidz Trek

    Kidz Trek is provided during Worship Service time @ 10:30 am for grades K-5th. This group focuses on praise and worship time, bible lessons and serving others. This group meets every Sunday accept the last Sunday of each month which is Family Sunday.

How Should I Prepare My Kids?

Each Sunday, you will need to check your child into our Children's Ministry areas. Either a wristband will be filled out by parents or parents will be asked to Check-In on the computer and print out a name tag and a claim tag will be given or printed for parents to present at Check-Out. Both formats will include your child’s name as well as information regarding specific allergies. From there you will walk them to their age-specific classroom. When you return at the end of service you will Check-Out your child by signing them out or checking them out on the computer and then handing the claim tag to the teacher.
